Η Αποκριά φτάνει στο εορταστικό της κρεσέντο με τον εκρηκτικό ήχο ενός συγκροτήματος-δυναμίτη, των Burger Project ενώ ξεσηκωτικά κρουστά από τους Bloco Swingueira και ένα περιπετειώδες DJ set με τον Espeekay θα κατακλύσουν με ρυθμό, χορό και εορταστική διάθεση το Πάρκο Σταύρος Νιάρχος.
Την ίδια μέρα, πάρτε μέρος σε μια διαδραστική παρέλαση με εκατομμύρια σαπουνόφουσκες και γεμίστε τα πρόσωπά σας με χρώμα και αποκριάτικη διάθεση μέσα από τη δραστηριότητα face painting στο Πάρκο. Ταξιδέψτε σε διάφορες χώρες του κόσμου, αναζητήστε τον Καρνάβαλο του κάθε τόπου και φτάστε ένα βήμα πιο κοντά στον μεγάλο θησαυρό!
Την Καθαρά Δευτέρα σας προσκαλούμε σε ένα μεγάλο γλέντι με οικοδεσπότη τον Λάμπρο Λιάβα και τη συμμετοχή των μεγαλύτερων δεξιοτεχνών της ελληνικής παραδοσιακής μουσικής. Από νησιώτικους μπάλους μέχρι ηπειρώτικους χορούς και μακεδονίτικα συρτά, το Πάρκο Σταύρος Νιάρχος γεμίζει με ήχους απ’ όλη την Ελλάδα!
Κια ακόμη, γιορτάζουμε τα Κούλουμα με πρωτότυπα θεματικά εργαστήρια για όλες τις ηλικίες. Μικροί και μεγάλοι έρχονται σε επαφή με τα έθιμά μας, φτιάχνουν και πετούν χαρταετούς, και με ποικίλα υλικά, χρώματα και φαντασία πλάθουν τη δική τους Κυρά-Σαρακοστή!

On Sunday March 1st, the biggest carnival party in Athens will take place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center! Infectious percussion rhythms by Bloco Swingueira, an adventurous DJ set with Espeekay, and a live concert filled with explosive sounds, humor and unexpected turns by the Burger Project will overflow the Stavros Niarchos Park with a festive mood of music and dancing.
On the same day, join us in an interactive parade with millions of bubbles and participate in a colorful face painting activity at the Stavros Niarchos Park. Travel to different countries of the world, search for the Carnival king of each place and discover the great treasure!
Once again this year, we celebrate Koulouma with a big celebration curated by ethnomusicologist Lambros Liavas and featuring the greatest traditional Greek music instrumentalists. From Ballos tunes from the Aegean islands to Epirus folk dances and other favorites, the Stavros Niarchos Park is staged with a panorama of Greek traditional music that will entice even the most hesitant visitors to get up and dance!
Discover also the original thematic workshops for all ages. Young and old familiarize themselves with the wealth of Greek customs and traditions; they create their own kites and make them move; they bring the figure of Kyra Sarakosti to life (a traditional Greek custom) using a variety of materials, colors and fantasy!
